Co-writing and sync music
Dave is a writer and producer of music across the genres. From writing his own music to Grammy nominations for mixing Superstylin (Groove Armada). Dave is comfortable working across different genres and in all aspects of recording. If you need a studio, he can sort it… if you need mixing or mastering give him a call, if you just need a beat, get in touch.. Dave works out of Manchester Recording Studios, with his own studio there running the lastest Protools, Logic and Ableton, 1000’s of plugins both UAD and native. Monitoring is Dynaudio LYD48’s and Focal Twin 6’s. 2 x SSL Super Analogue mic pre, Golden Age pre73, Focusrite iSA 131 and DBX160x compression.
Dave's journey in the music industry began at the prestigious Jacob's Studios in Surrey. He then spent 18 years as a freelance engineer at The Strongroom in London, a renowned hub for musical creativity. During this time, he was represented by Strongroom Producer Management and gained invaluable experience working in top studios around the world.
He has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of incredible artists. Early sessions at The Strongroom included session with M-People, The Spice Girls, E17 and of course The Prodigy. He mixed Groove Armada's chart-topping "Superstylin'" and many other of their hits. Dave also mixed the first-ever 5.1 immersive music album with Orbital, pushing the boundaries of audio experience. His live album/DVD credits include iconic performances by Motörhead, Ash, Goldfrapp, Kasabian, The Shadows, and many more.
After his time with Strongroom management, Dave worked at Sarm Studios, collaborating closely with Liam Howlett of The Prodigy, engineering The Prodigy's "Invaders Must Die" album and had previously co-produced tracks on "Always Outnumbered." He then established his own studio in West London, creating music for adverts and syncs as part of chill-out band Kinobe, while also recording and mixing a diverse range of bands, including The Fedz, Trampoline, The King Blues, Fecky, The Section Boys, and Zdot.

Composition
As an artist in his own right, Dave understands your musical requirements when it comes to collaborations. With a catalog of Adverts and Syncs and Library albums to his credit. Bespoke compositions for sync purposes are no problem.
